Roy MacGregor
Roy MacGregor is a prizewinning journalist and writer, author of many books for adults and young people. Northern Light, released Fall 2010, revisits and updates the story of Canadian painter Tom Thomson, who died in mysterious circumstances in Algonquin Park in 1917. The book reveals new details about Thomson’s personal life and his last days, and makes a compelling case for the true site of his burial.

Acclaimed Toronto author Alyssa York’s third novel, Fauna, released in 2010, is set in a Toronto ravine, where a number of misfits and lost souls, both animal and human, find refuge with the unusual proprietor of Howell Auto Wreckers.
