In Workready, you will also improve your reading, writing, computer, and internet skills. All these skills are valuable work skills as well.
This Workready course has been successfully completed by many learners at level 2 and above. If you are at level 2, you might want to ask someone to be available if you need some help.
Over the next few weeks, there will be new topics presented on this web-site. You will be asked to read materials and to respond to them on line. As well, you will have an opportunity to participate in discussions with other people taking Workready.
There are about 2 hours of work for each Topic in Workready. So be prepared to read, think, and write. If you complete all of the readings and all of the activities, you will have improved your skills with reading, writing, using the computer, and the internet. You will also know a lot more about Personal Management Skills. If you have improved those skills, you may have improved your chances of getting a job or a promotion.
